Judy Klein spent a dozen years with the prestigious publishing house Farrar, Straus & Giroux. During her tenure, she was a vice president of the company as well as the director of subsidiary rights, the director of paperback publishing and the director of audiobooks. She has also worked with St. Martin’s Press, iUniverse and Sterling Publishing. Judy is a former editor in chief of The Literary Guild Book Club and also of the Booksonline Book Clubs. In addition to collaborating with authors and publishers, Judy works part-time as a bookseller and as an organizer for the annual Montana Festival of the Book. She also teaches classes on book publishing and she writes the occasional magazine article. Editor Bob Arnold spent more than 40 years as a Publisher Representative. He served as liaison between publishers and independent bookstores throughout California, Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada. He has represented Farrar Straus Giroux, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Schocken, Facts on File, Health Communications, MacAdam Cage, W.H. Freeman and City Lights as well as such university presses as Oxford, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico, Pennsylvania and Northwestern. |
